Ear Piercings

Unlike piercing guns or needles, our hand-pressured instruments deliver a hygienic and virtually painless experience:

• Safe & Hygienic: Disposable cartridges are touch-free loaded, and all jewellery is pre-sterilised, ensuring hygiene is maintained throughout the piercing process.

• Gentle Action: The hand-pressured instruments require a light touch, making the procedure quick, easy, and virtually painless—ideal for both children and adults.

• Separate Instruments: We use dedicated systems for ear and nose piercings, guaranteeing the highest hygiene standards, professionalism, and compliance with health authority guidelines.
   

Your piercing experience at BeauTea Lounge includes a thorough consultation, aftercare advice, and a take-home aftercare lotion. You can choose from a variety of jewellery options, including studs or small hoops, available in gold-plated or stainless steel. We’ll clean the area with an antiseptic solution to prevent infection, mark the position with a piercing pen (ensuring you're happy with the placement), and then carry out the piercing, explaining aftercare instructions along the way.
 

Age Requirements

• Ear lobe piercing: Minimum age of 6

• Ear cartilage piercing: Minimum age of 14

• Nose piercing: Minimum age of 16
  (If under 16, a parent or guardian must be present, and proof of ID may be required)
   

Pre-Treatment Care
• Remove any other jewellery in the area to be pierced
• Eat and hydrate before your appointment
• Avoid alcohol beforehand
 

Post-Treatment Care
• Cleanse the pierced area 2-3 times a day using STUDEX After Piercing Lotion
• Ensure your hands are clean before touching the pierced area
• Gently rotate the jewellery 2-3 times while cleaning, and avoid hair wrapping around the back of the jewellery post
• Keep the area dry after cleaning
• Avoid hair products or other preparations near the pierced area
